Trump stirs backlash with bizarre “Trump Gaza” video on Truth Social

A wave of outrage swept across Turkish and international social media channels after U.S. President Donald Trump shared a AI-generated video on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, depicting his controversial vision for the future of the Gaza Strip.
The 33-second video opens with images of destruction and ruin in Gaza, displaying the words “Gaza 2025”, followed by the phrase “What’s next?” From there, the tone shifts, as the video transitions to a series of surreal scenes. Towering skyscrapers dominate the skyline, while children gaze upward as dollar bills fall from the sky.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk is shown enjoying hummus on a beach in what appears to be a newly-developed tourist destination, while a young boy holds a golden balloon adorned with Trump’s face. The video showcases Trump dancing in a nightclub, followed by “Trump Gaza” inscription at the entrance of skyscrapers and shown throughout the entire video. A massive golden statue of Trump is also prominently featured.
Towards the end of the clip Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lounging beside Trump near a pool, both sipping beverages with the “Trump Gaza” sign clearly visible in the background.
Throughout these scenes a tune with the lyrics that include, “Donald’s coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here, Trump Gaza’s shining bright, golden future, a brand new light, feast and dance, the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one.”
