Strategic focus on PKK/YPG presence

Al-Hamada emphasized the importance of eliminating the PKK/YPG to ensure the security and stability of Syria.

“Free Syria will not enjoy security until we eliminate their separatist projects, and this is what is imminent,” he stated. The defense minister also described the PKK/YPG as a “poisoned dagger” on Syria’s side, referring to its long-standing presence and terrorist acts in the region.

The terrorist PKK party has been a poisoned dagger in the back of the Syrian revolution for years, and today it is a dagger in Syria’s side… Widespread popular demands in the eastern provinces of Syria are calling for their liberation from the terrorist PKK party that was raised in the school of Assad’s crimes. Free Syria will not enjoy security until we eliminate their separatist projects, and this is what is imminent.
