Regime forces and PKK/YPG exchange conflict in Dair ez-Zor
According to local sources, overnight clashes occurred between regime forces comprised of Assad’s regime army and Iranian-backed groups, and PKK/YPG terrorists along the axis of Suhayl and Bukrus towns in southeastern Deir ez-Zor.
Simultaneously, regime forces stationed on the western bank of the Euphrates River launched ground-to-ground missile attacks on the towns of Kishkiyyeh, Abu Hamam, Sabha, and Dhele, which are under the control of the PKK/YPG terrorist group.
In retaliation, PKK/YPG terrorists targeted the town of Muhasan, where regime forces are present, with ground-to-ground missiles.
Dozens of families were displaced due to the clashes and bombardments in the area.
Additionally, brief skirmishes erupted between Arab tribes under the pressure of the PKK/YPG and U.S.-backed PKK/YPG terrorists in the towns of Suhayl and Busayra.
Overnight clashes and bombardments resulted in five civilians, including children, being injured. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals.
Intermittent clashes occured between regime forces and Iranian-backed groups stationed on the western bank of the Euphrates River and the PKK/YPG terrorists occupying the eastern bank.
