During a meeting of the so-called civil administration in the PKK/YPG-controlled Syrian city of Raqqa, Arab representative Mohammad Ramadan made remarkable statements.

A local news outlet reported Ramadan asserted that PKK cadres fully control the so-called civilian structures, and the role of Arab administrators is merely symbolic.

Ramadan criticized the PKK’s co-chairmanship system and likened the role of Arab administrators to that of a “vase.”

He said that in every institution and service unit, PKK terrorists from Qandil Mountain hold all the powers without official authorization.

He emphasized this situation is reminiscent of the old Syrian regime scenario, and if it continues in this way, it may cause social unrest.

Terrorist organization PKK/YPG uses the term “cadre” to refer to terrorists from its Qandil cadre in the areas they occupy.

In a statement in November 2020, the PKK/YPG’s ringleader in Syria, Ferhat Abdi Sahin, code-named Mazlum Abdi, admitted that thousands of PKK-trained terrorists had arrived in Syria and that most of them were operating under the guise of civilians.
