Walkie talkies explode in Beirut
Lebanese media reports additional explosions of wireless devices, including pagers and cell phones, in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. These areas have witnessed numerous incidents, with explosions also being reported in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Initial information indicates that the affected devices were primarily radio-connected gadgets. The explosions have been reported in several regions, with significant damage recorded in southern Lebanon and the southern suburb of Beirut.
Israel blew up thousands of personal radios which were used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon in a second wave of its intelligence operation which started on Tuesday with the explosions of Hezbollah pager devices, per two sources with knowledge talking to Axios. There have been reports of multiple cars and apartments on fire with reportedly more injuries.
Reports also suggest that at least 14 people have been killed in Suhmur, western Bekaa.
