Jordan’s FM Safadi meets Syria’s new administration leader Sharaa in Damascus
Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, has reportedly met with the leader of Syria’s new administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, during his visit to the Syrian capital, Damascus.
A statement from the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Safadi is currently in Damascus for extensive talks with Sharaa, who is leading the newly formed Syrian government.
The ministry added that Safadi is engaged in a series of discussions with Syrian officials throughout his visit.
Earlier in the day, the Foreign Ministry had announced that Safadi’s visit would involve multiple meetings with Sharaa and other senior Syrian authorities.
