Israel threatens Hamas leader following praise for attacks on Israeli forces
Israel threatened Khaled Meshaal, a leader of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, following his praise of operations against Israeli forces in the West Bank.
Meshaal had praised operations against Israeli forces in the West Bank during a press conference held by the International Jerusalem Institute in Istanbul.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded by threatening Meshaal with assassination, stating: “Israel will ensure that Khaled Meshaal and his Hamas colleagues’ desire for death is fulfilled as soon as possible.”
Katz emphasized that the operation would proceed without alterations.
