The Israeli army launched airstrikes on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, targeting the southern part of the city.

According to Israeli Army Radio, the strikes aimed at Ali Karaki, a top Hezbollah military commander.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah confirms that its top military commander Ali Karaki is alive, moved to safer place, following Israeli airstrikes on southern Beirut that targeted him.

The attack marks a significant escalation in tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, with the situation still developing.

Israel declares state of emergency

Israeli army, which has been conducting heavy airstrikes on Lebanon, announced that 165 rockets have been fired from Lebanon since Monday morning.

Meanwhile, Israel declares state of emergency for a week, effective immediately, amid tensions with Hezbollah as residents in southern Lebanon begin fleeing north on Monday due to heavy Israeli airstrikes.
