Israel plans to target Iranian oil facilities: Media report
Israel is planning attacks on multiple oil production facilities in Iran, according to U.S.-based news site Axios.
Speaking to Axios, several Israeli officials suggest that Iran‘s oil facilities could be a primary target. However, others believe that targeted assassinations and neutralizing Iran’s air defense systems are also potential options.
One Israeli official warned that Israel’s retaliation “will be much more significant.”
Right after the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Iran made a big mistake tonight and it will pay for it.”
