Israel launches extensive strikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched a series of extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon on Monday, according to an official statement from the Israeli military.
The attacks come as Israel marks the first anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, which triggered the ongoing conflict.
IAF targets Hezbollah in southern Lebanon
“The IAF is currently conducting extensive strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon,” the Israeli army said in a brief statement released on Monday.
The strikes target Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Lebanese militia group, which has increasingly engaged in border clashes with Israel over the past year.
