Israel attacks Christian town in Lebanon, resulting in multiple casualties

In a significant escalation of hostilities, Israel has conducted an assault on the town of Aitu in northern Lebanon, which is predominantly inhabited by Christians.
Reports indicate that the attack has resulted in the deaths of at least 18 individuals.
The Lebanese Red Cross has confirmed that the Israeli military targeted Aitu, located in the Zgharta region, situated away from the strongholds of Hezbollah. This marks the first instance in over a year that Israeli forces have engaged in this area, which has been affected by ongoing conflicts.
