Iran arrests 12 accused of spying for Israel
A new development has escalated tensions between Israel and Iran. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a written statement that 12 individuals allegedly planning operations on behalf of Israel have been arrested.
The IRGC stated that intelligence units conducted operations across six provinces in the country, targeting a group planning anti-security actions for Israel.
According to the statement, the suspects were arrested and accused of working for Israel in exchange for money.
