Hezbollah launches 320 missiles at Israel in retaliation for commander’s assassination
Hezbollah in Lebanon announced it has completed the first phase of its retaliation against Israel, following the assassination of one of its commanders, Fuad Shukur, in Beirut.
According to Hezbollah’s written statement, “The first phase has been successfully completed.”
The statement highlighted that drones targeted Israeli military bases and regions, and 320 Katyusha rockets struck military bases in Israel’s Galilee and the occupied Golan Heights.
Additional details of the operation will be disclosed later.
While Israel announced it had launched an attack on Lebanon, Hezbollah responded by initiating its assault on Israel as retaliation for the assassination of its commander, Shukur.
