Explosions reportedly heard in Iran’s capital Tehran
Three consecutive explosions are reportedly heard west of Tehran, Iran, with the cause still unknown.
Iran’s semi-official news agency, Fars, reported that explosions were heard in the capital, Tehran.
“A few minutes ago, explosions were heard in Tehran,” Fars stated.
Iranian state television also confirmed the reports of explosions in the capital. However, the news indicated that the source of the explosions remains unclear.
Explosions in Syria, Iraq
Simultaneously with Tehran, explosions were reportedly heard in the Syrian capital Damascus and the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
