Erdogan discusses Israeli aggression with Lebanese Prime Minister Mikati in phone call

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, addressing Israel’s recent actions and their impact on regional stability.

According to a statement from the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, the leaders discussed Israel’s attacks and threats against Lebanon, as well as the ongoing Israeli assaults in Gaza, which have escalated tensions in the region.

During the call, President Erdogan emphasized the urgent need to halt Israeli aggression, labeling Israel’s efforts to escalate conflicts as highly dangerous. He reiterated Turkey’s solidarity with Lebanon in opposing Israel’s aggressive policies.

“Israel must be told ‘enough is enough’ by the international community and the Islamic world before it’s too late,” President Erdogan stated.

The conversation comes amid heightened tensions following Israel’s military actions in Gaza and Lebanon, prompting international concern over the escalating conflict in the region.
