At least 7 killed after bomb attack hits Pakistan
A bomb blast near a school in Pakistan’s Balochistan province resulted in the deaths of seven individuals, including five students and one police officer. The attack also left 30 others injured.
According to Geo News television, a bomb attack was organized against a police vehicle on patrol near a school in Mastung district.
Authorities stated that the ages of the dead students ranged between 10 and 13, while four police officers were among the wounded.
The explosion also damaged surrounding buildings and vehicles.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack.
Bugti stated that terrorists targeted innocent students and civil servants and emphasized that they would be held to account.
