Türkiye’s weather outlook: Showers, rising temperatures, and avalanche risks

The Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) has issued a weather report for March 25, warning of heavy rainfall and increasing temperatures across the country. According to the report, regions, including Edirne, Istanbul, Kirklareli, Karabuk, Sinop, and Zonguldak, are expected to experience intense rain.
Nationally, temperatures, which have been higher than seasonal averages, are predicted to continue rising.
Unsettled weather across Northern and Western Türkiye
The forecast indicates that northern and western parts of Türkiye will experience cloudy skies, with the north and west of the Marmara region, as well as Karabuk and Kastamonu, receiving rainfall. Other areas are expected to remain partially cloudy with clear skies.

In the morning and night, fog is expected in northern and inland areas, while some eastern regions will experience frost and ice. The highlands of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia are at avalanche risk because of snowy conditions.
