Türkiye’s Gallipoli Campaign Mobile Museum opens in Tirana

A traveling exhibition featuring artifacts from the Gallipoli Campaign and digital displays has opened its second stop in Albania’s capital, Tirana, as part of the Gallipoli Campaign Mobile Museum project.

A cultural journey through history
The museum, stationed at Iskanderbeg Square, has attracted visitors from various age groups, as well as students from schools across the city.
Previously, the mobile museum was opened in Shkodra, located in northern Albania, and will continue its journey to Elbasan following its stay in Tirana.

Project aimed at preserving Gallipoli’s legacy
Launched in 2021, the Gallipoli Historical Site Directorate spearheaded this project under Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The mobile museum aims to engage audiences along a predetermined route, with a strong focus on preserving the spirit of Gallipoli for future generations.

Unique experience for visitors
The museum features historical photographs, war artifacts, and pieces of cultural heritage from the Gallipoli Campaign.
Additionally, digital presentations bring these historical moments to life, providing an immersive learning experience.

Next stops: Expanding museum’s reach
After its time in Albania, the mobile museum will travel to other Balkan countries.
It had previously visited various cities in Kosovo from March 12 to 19 and will remain in Albania until March 28, continuing its cultural journey across the region.
