Turkish art studio Ouchhh, which produces digital artwork, becomes the first to achieve this milestone

Turkish art studio Ouchhh, which produces digital art, became the first to send artwork generated by artificial intelligence (AI) to the Moon.

Ouch Studio’s founding partners Ferdi Alici and Eylul Duranagac Alici’s “Human Cell Atlas” work landed on the Moon with a SpaceX rocket last week.

The work, which had its world premiere at Art Dubai, will remain on the Moon forever. It will be exhibited in many art capitals of the world, including Istanbul.

Ferdi Alici, one of the two artists of the work who participated in the fair with the Hilton Contemporary gallery, said in his statement to the AA correspondent that the project started with their collaboration with CERN about five years ago.

“With the contributions of scientists, we produce digital artwork for CERN every year. The last of these works was the Human Cell Atlas,” he added.
