To celebrate 100 years of friendship between Türkiye and Japan, the Turkish Embassy in Tokyo is hosting “Turkish Cuisine Days” at the Imperial Hotel. This event is part of a series of cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries.

TASFED Secretary General Emre Oruc noted the Japanese chefs’ admiration while learning traditional Turkish dishes in the kitchen. He particularly highlighted their strong interest in making Ramadan pita and bagels.
Yunus Gunduz, a chef from the Turkish Culinary National Team, explained their mission in Tokyo: to introduce and collaborate with Japanese chefs in preparing authentic Turkish local dishes.
