Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the 12th International Orange Blossom Carnival in Adana this year
The carnival, which is the first stop of the “Türkiye Culture Route Festival” organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, kicked off with various events as the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the Orange Blossom Carnival in Adana.
Ersoy visited the “Digital Art from Sketch to Pixel: Anatolian Edition” exhibition at the Adana Museum Complex. He examined the works and chatted with participants.
Ersoy then visited the Agriculture, Industry and City Museum.
Ersoy watches a movie with an application developed for the disabled
Later in the program, Minister Ersoy attended a talk on “Unimpeded Cinema with Metin Senturk” held in the cinema hall of a local shopping mall.
Birol Guven, General Director of Cinema, explained the “My Dream Partner” application developed in cooperation with Turkcell to enable the visually impaired to participate more actively and independently in social life.
Following the presentation, Ersoy experienced the smartphone application that enables the visually impaired to perceive visual content without assistance and watch movies when they go to the cinema.
Ersoy, whose eyes were covered with a sleeping band, watched the movie, “The Last Supper,” which was audio-described, specially prepared for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye and for which Anadolu Agency is the global communications partner.
The International Orange Blossom Carnival will continue until April 21.
