Istanbul Digital Arts Festival pre-screening held in Milan

The fourth Istanbul Digital Art Festival (IDAF) began with a preview event in Milan, Italy, on Tuesday. The main event will be held in Istanbul on May 2, exploring the theme “Searching Connection.
The preview event hosted by the Meet Digital Culture Center in Milan was attended by many government officials, including Türkiye’s Consul General Mehmet Ozoktem, Azerbaijan’s Cultural Attache Nigar Qurbanli, and Türkiye’s Trade Attache Ahmet Erkan Cetinkayis, alongside artists and other prominent figures in the digital art community.
The event, organized by the advertising agency Mezo Digital with support from Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, featured 40 artists.
Istanbul-based Pasha Bank serves as the festival’s main sponsor, and Anadolu Agency is its global communication partner.
Nabat Garakhanova, the director of IDAF, expressed her pride in realizing Türkiye’s sole international digital art festival during the event in Milan.
The fourth IDAF, running from May 2 to May 5 in Istanbul, will showcase works by artists exploring the concepts of the past and future as a unifying force, acknowledging the convergence of art and technology as a creative domain.
The festival will also include workshops for children and youth, panel discussions, and visual and audio performances throughout its duration.
