Grammy-winning artist Black Coffee performs in Istanbul
Renowned for blending electronic music with jazz, R&B and soul, Black Coffee captivated audiences at Maximum Uniq Open-Air with his unique sound.
The concert, organized by BKM, saw a crowd of 7,000 fans eager to experience the magic of this South African talent.
Night of musical diversity
Before Black Coffee took the stage, local artists Egeme and Avangart Tabldot warmed up the crowd with their performances.
As a global icon in electronic music, Black Coffee has amassed a devoted following, drawing fans with his exotic melodies since his birth in South Africa in 1976.
Remarkable journey in music
Despite a tragic accident in 1990 that left him using only his right arm to play music, Black Coffee has continued to rise in the industry.
He famously set the world record for the “Longest DJ Set Played With One Arm,” performing non-stop for 60 hours in Cape Town.
Known for his impressive collaborations with major artists like Alicia Keys and Drake, Black Coffee’s sixth album, “Subconsciously,” features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Diplo, RyX, Usher and David Guetta.
This album earned him the Grammy Award for “Best Dance/Electronic Album” at the 64th Grammy Awards.
