Renowned musicians from around the globe are set to take the stage in various venues across Istanbul during the 2024-2025 season.
Thirty Seconds to Mars kicks off with concert
The American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars will perform at the Ulker Sports Arena on Oct. 27 as part of their “Seasons World Tour.”
Legendary guitarist Al Di Meola takes center stage
Celebrated guitarist Al Di Meola, known for his extensive discography of over 30 albums, will meet music lovers at the Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul on Nov. 7.
With a unique repertoire, Al Di Meola will showcase his famous tracks from “Land of the Midnight Sun,” “Casino,” and “Elegant Gypsy,” all while performing on his Les Paul guitar.
Dave Weckl & Tom Kennedy project to dazzle fans
Drumming phenomenon Dave Weckl will reunite with bassist Tom Kennedy for their concert in Istanbul.
The Dave Weckl & Tom Kennedy Project will be accompanied by saxophonist Eric Marienthal and keyboardist Stu Mindeman, bringing an unforgettable experience to fans on Oct. 22 at the BLIND venue in Asmalimescit, organized by Epifoni.
Evgeny Grinko’s Turkish tour
Russian musician, pianist, and drummer Evgeny Grinko has kicked off his Türkiye tour on Oct.5.
Grinko will perform at several venues, including the Selcuklu Congress Center in Konya tomorrow, the Ataturk Cultural Center in Eskisehir on Oct. 16, the Merinos Ataturk Congress and Culture Center in Bursa on Oct.17, the Kulturpark Open-Air Theatre in Izmir on Oct. 18, and the Bostanci Show Center in Istanbul on Oct. 20.
SOEN to rock Istanbul
Swedish alternative rock band SOEN will take the stage in Istanbul as part of their Türkiye tour on Oct. 22.
Thrash metal titans to perform
American thrash metal band Testament will rock JJ Arena on Nov. 19, followed by Jethro Tull at Volkswagen Arena on Nov. 23, and Destruction at IF Besiktas on Nov.28.
Exciting concerts scheduled for 2025
In addition to the several performances this year, many famous musicians and bands are also set to perform in Istanbul in 2025.
Norwegian cinematic folk and pop group Kalandra will make their Istanbul debut on Feb. 7, 2025, at IF Besiktas.
Former Manowar guitarist Ross Friedman, known as “Ross The Boss,” will showcase his beloved tracks on April 5, 2025, at IF Besiktas.
Tarja Turunen, a renowned soprano in rock music, will perform alongside her Nightwish collaborator, bassist Marko Hietala, on April 10 at JJ Arena.
Former Accept lead vocalist Udo Dirkschneider will perform with his solo project UDO on April 11 at IF Besiktas.
Pioneers of glam rock, White Lion, are also set to perform at IF Besiktas on May 14.
