Exclusive by Murat Oztekin – Esmaeil Rashvand’s most significant solo exhibition in Türkiye has opened at the Gama Gallery in Maslak 42 since settling in the country in 2019.
Rashvand is one of the prominent figures in modern calligraphy, has mentored hundreds of artists and creates paintings through the art of writing in his works.
As a master of contemporary calligraphy, Rashvand conveys the essence of human nature through the power of traditional calligraphic forms on canvas.

Over his 43-year career, Rashvand has held exhibitions in Iran, England, Italy and France.
His books on calligraphy and related subjects are still taught as textbooks in Iran.
