EXCLUSIVE BY MURAT OZTEKIN — This year’s Türkiye Culture Route Festival kicked off in Adana with the International Orange Blossom Carnival, which included more than 200 cultural, artistic, and sporting activities. A highlight is the “Jewelry from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic” exhibition, showcasing the evolution of Ottoman jewelry art, combining the aesthetics of different societies and highlighting “colorful” works.
The “Digital Art from Sketch to Pixel: Anatolia Edition” exhibition at the Museum Complex blends ancient cultural heritage with modern art, featuring traditional patterns and Anatolian motifs in a digital art and artificial intelligence context. The curator of the exhibition Ayse Demirci said, “We are creating this exhibition with 12 artists by building a bridge between the past and the present.”
‘Matrakci’ is here again!
The “Matraki: An Ottoman Star” exhibition at the City Museum showcases the world of the 16th-century miniature artist and mathematician Matrakci Nasuh, bringing his legacy to the present day.
The Türkiye Culture Road Festival spans across 16 cities and will organize events in seven regions of Türkiye.
