Children enjoy ‘Karagoz and Hacivat’ shadow play in Russia
The performance comes in line with the event organized by the Embassy of Türkiye in Moscow and the Moscow Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) at the Russian State Children’s Library in Moscow
The famous Turkish shadow play “Karagoz and Hacivat” took over the stage in an event organized by the Embassy of Türkiye in Moscow and the Moscow Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) at the Russian State Children’s Library in Moscow.
Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgic and his wife Betul Aksoy Bilgic, YEE Moscow Coordinator Mehmet Ulker and Deputy Director of the library Anjela Lebedeva attended the event.
Russian and Turkish children relished the performance as they clapped and laughed during the performance.
A workshop was also organized for children after the show, within the scope of the activities that continued in Moscow throughout the week.
Following the shadow play, Ambassador Bilgic and his wife, Betul Aksoy Bilgic, looked and praise at the creative artwork prepared by the children.
The workshop also garnered significant attention from the families of the children participating in the event.
