Ankara hosts photo exhibition titled ‘Shared Culture and Values’
As part of the 3rd European Heritage Days, a photo exhibition titled “Shared Culture and Values” was held in Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, along with a press meeting.
The event, organized in collaboration with the European Union (EU) Delegation to Türkiye and hosted by the Polish Embassy in Ankara, attracted several media representatives.
Key figures such as Jurgis Vilcinskas, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye, and Radoslaw Sadowski, Charge d’Affaires at the Polish Embassy in Ankara, were among the attendees.
In his speech, Sadowski expressed gratitude to the participants for their interest in the event, emphasizing that the exhibition presents a unique opportunity to celebrate the “shared heritage” between Türkiye and the EU. He highlighted that the exhibition is part of a broader cultural program taking place in Ankara for European Heritage Days and provided insights into upcoming events.

Vilcinskas also stressed the importance of the exhibition in encouraging reflection on the “shared cultural heritage” that binds Türkiye and the EU. He extended his thanks to the Polish Embassy for its contributions to organizing the event.
The exhibition features photographs from various joint cultural heritage projects undertaken in cooperation between Türkiye and EU member states. These projects, covering 18 cities across the country, underscore shared efforts in preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage.
