Ege Karabenli, a 26-year-old model, actor, and personal trainer, gained widespread attention at the competition with his Zeybek performance.

Wearing a traditional costume, he performed the historic Turkish dance that symbolizes bravery and honor. The dance and attire received significant praise during the “Best National Costume” category.

Speaking after the event, Karabenli expressed his pride in showcasing Türkiye’s culture. “Zeybek is in my blood. It embodies the courage of my ancestors, the spirit of the Aegean, and the honor of fighting for what’s right. Representing this tradition on an international stage was an indescribable honor,” he stated. His strong connection to Türkiye’s heritage resonated with the audience and judges.

Karabenli also secured recognition as one of the top models in the competition. While he did not make it to the final four, he described his top-10 achievement as a significant milestone. “Representing Türkiye on this platform was a great honor,” he said. “Introducing Turkish culture and raising our flag are what matter most.”

Born on Jan. 1, 1998, in Kusadasi, Aydin—one of the origin places of Zeybek—Ege Karabenli has built a multifaceted career as a model, actor, and personal trainer.

At the age of 26, he has already established himself in multiple fields, bringing both skill and cultural pride to his work.

Karabenli’s dedication to cultural representation played a pivotal role in his participation in Mr. World 2024. He said, “It was an honor to show the courage of my ancestors and the Aegean spirit. On stage, I felt the pride of representing my homeland and the strength of my cultural roots.”
