8th International Taste of Adana Festival welcomes visitors
The eighth International Taste of Adana Festival, themed “Adana with Its Roots,” has officially opened its doors under the auspices of the Adana governorship.
At the festival, which takes place in Merkez Park, stalls showcasing local products have been set up. Visitors can indulge in a variety of local delicacies, including kebab, liver, shirdan and salgam.
Ambitious goals for visitor numbers

He noted, “We welcomed 900,000 guests last year from Adana, a city of festivals. This year, we aim to host over 1 million visitors. Adana has truly become a city of festivals. We prepared our meats a day in advance, and right now, we are ready to share our bread with 20 kebab chefs and host our guests.”

Festival participant Ilhan Ilbey expressed that all flavors, from salgam to kebab, can be found at the festival venue. Shirdan chef Cumali Batur highlighted the intense participation on the first day of the festival. “Despite it being the first day, we have seen a great turnout,” he said.
