Vodafone redefines international communication solutions with renewed packages valid in over 200 countries, tailored to every traveler’s needs. As part of welcoming customers abroad, all postpaid users receive a complimentary “Welcome Abroad Gift,” ensuring seamless initial communication needs with 250 MB of internet, 5 minutes of calls, and 2 SMS valid for 30 days across 200 countries.

Notably, the 250 MB of internet included in the “Welcome Abroad Gift” equates to approximately 4 hours of WhatsApp calls or 40 minutes of video calls when other apps are not in use.

For those wishing to use their tariff abroad as they do in Türkiye, Vodafone offers the comprehensive “Everything Included Passport” package. Additionally, new “Yurt Dışı 1 GB” and “Yurt Dışı 3 GB” packages cater to customers preferring limited usage options.

Introducing 2 new international packages

Expanding its offerings, Vodafone now extends the “Everything Included Passport,” allowing customers to use their GBs, minutes, and SMS just like they do at home, now valid in 200 countries instead of 131.

Additionally, Vodafone introduces 2 new packages: the “Yurt Dışı 1 GB” and “Yurt Dışı 3 GB.” The “Yurt Dışı 1 GB” package, priced at ₺169 per month, offers 1 GB of internet, 15 minutes of calls, and 10 SMS. Meanwhile, the “Yurt Dışı 3 GB” package, priced at ₺469 per month, includes 3 GB internet, 30 minutes of calls, and 15 SMS.

Free customer service abroad

Customers encountering issues with their lines abroad can now text “RED” to Vodafone for immediate callbacks from dedicated customer representatives.

Furthermore, customers calling Vodafone Customer Service while abroad can connect directly to a representative without any wait time, free of charge.

Tailoring privileges to customers’ lifestyles

Reflecting on the past year at a Vodafone Red evaluation meeting, Meltem Bakiler Sahin, Vice Chairman of the Vodafone Türkiye Executive Committee, emphasized that Vodafone prioritizes leveraging digital advancements in customer experience, aiming to deliver personalized and consistent experiences to each customer.

Our Vodafone Red brand plays a crucial role in individuals’ digitalization journeys, offering privileges spanning communication, travel, entertainment, dining, and more. Our international privileges have garnered significant interest, with recent innovations in roaming services.

We’ve expanded the ‘Everything Included Passport’ to cover 200 countries and introduced the ‘Welcome Abroad Gift,’ automatically available to all postpaid customers. We’ve also launched two new additional packages: ‘Yurt Dışı 1 GB’ and ‘Yurt Dışı 3 GB.’ We now offer free access to Vodafone Customer Service for issues related to overseas usage, which was previously a paid service.

Through Vodafone Red’s privileges, we contribute significantly to the national economy, providing approximately 502 million ₺ in benefits to our Red customers over the past year. Looking ahead, we will continue to offer privileges that make our Red customers feel special and prioritized, tailored to their lifestyles

Contribution to Turkish economy

Vodafone Red continues to contribute to the national economy through significant cost advantages. Red customers enjoyed approximately 502 million ₺ in benefits over the past year, consuming approximately 3.3 billion GBs of mobile internet, making 62.8 billion minutes of calls, and sending 2.2 billion SMS.

Red customers utilized a total of 272 million GB of internet across popular applications without additional charges, marking a 34% increase in mobile internet usage compared to a year ago. Monthly data usage per Red customer exceeded 21 GB on average.

81% active usage of “Vodafone Yanimda” app

In the past year, 81% of Vodafone Red customers actively used “Vodafone Yanimda” monthly, engaging with the app approximately 15 times per month on average.

Red customers interacted with the digital assistant TOBi 1.5 times more than other customers, conducting transactions digitally and interactively. Moreover, 33% of Red sales were made through digital channels, resulting in nearly 33 million ₺ in savings through online-exclusive tariff offers.

Red customers utilized 272M GB internet

Thanks to unlimited application privileges in their tariffs, Vodafone Red customers freely utilized a total of 272 million GB of internet. Specifically:

  • Approximately 65 million GB on messaging apps
  • 197 million GB on social media
  • 4.6 million GB on music apps
  • Over 5.3 million GB on video apps
  • More than 238,000 GB on entertainment apps without additional costs.

Additionally, around 173,000 subscribers benefited from the 3-month free YouTube Premium subscription offered with new and renewed Red tariff commitments, totaling a benefit of 25 million ₺.

Red customers spent 5.2M minutes talking for free abroad

Vodafone Red customers enjoyed various privileges abroad, using their tariff minutes to call 23 Vodafone countries as they would Türkiye, resulting in a total of 5.2 million minutes of free calls over the past year.

The top 5 countries called by Red customers were Germany, Northern Cyprus, France, the Netherlands, Greece, and Egypt.

Additionally, over 245,000 people utilized the “Everything Included Passport” service, allowing them to freely use their voice, internet, and SMS allowances in 200 countries as they do in Türkiye. Red customers saved a total of 379 million ₺ through both international usage and communication with loved ones abroad.

Brand collaborations utilized 346,000 times

Red customers have enjoyed a wealth of exclusive gifts and discounts through brand collaborations, leveraging these benefits 346,000 times over the past year and generating over 65 million ₺ in savings. On average, each customer saved 188 ₺. Specifically, Red customers benefited from:

  • 342,000 hours of free İspark parking, saving 8 million ₺
  • 30,000 instances of discounted fuel via Opet’s 100 ₺ Fuel Points, saving 3 million ₺
  • 12,000 free transfers to Istanbul Airport via Havaist, saving 800,000 ₺
  • 37,000 instances of renting vehicles at a 40% discount through Budget, saving 37 million ₺
  • 8,000 visits to beaches at a 50% discount, saving 2.4 million ₺

50% discount on beach entries

Continuing into the new season, Vodafone Red enriches life with summer privileges under the motto “Enrich Life with Vodafone Red’s Summer Privileges.”

  • 50% discount on entries to Alaçatı Beach Resort, Sand&Salt Bodrum Beach, MOMO Beach in both Çeşme and Bodrum
  • 400 ₺ discount on restaurant sections at Veranda Alaçatı and Veranda Bodrum
  • 100 ₺ discount on spending over 1,000 ₺ at BigChefs restaurants in Izmir and Bodrum
  • 100 ₺ discount on spending over 800 ₺ at SushiCo restaurants
  • 500 ₺ round-trip discount and 250 ₺ one-way discount on Greek Island ferries from Bilet.com
  • 40% discount on car rentals from Budget
  • 50% discount on airport transfers from Havaist
  • 300 ₺ discount on domestic flights and 500 ₺ discount on international flights with Travel Yanımda
  • 100 ₺ in Fuel Points on purchases over 750 ₺ at Opet
