Largest airport construction project in Vietnam
Located about 40 kilometers (24.85 miles) east of Ho Chi Minh City, Long Thanh International Airport is being built in three phases, with an overall investment of $14.12 billion. The first flight is expected to take off and land at the airport this July. Once completed, the 5,000-hectare facility will be the largest airport in Vietnam.
IC Ictas has currently been undertaking a $1.5 billion portion of the project. Designed to handle more than 100 million passengers annually, Long Thanh is regarded as one of Vietnam’s most prestigious infrastructure projects.
Founded in 1963, IC Ictas is one of the prominent construction and energy companies in Türkiye, known for landmark international projects such as the engineering and construction of King Khalid International Airport in 2023.
IC Ictas has also been conducting the construction and assembly of blocks 2, 3, and 4, as well as auxiliary, temporary, and permanent structures at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, Türkiye’s first nuclear power plant project, located in Mersin.
