TurkTraktor’s 70th anniversary takes important step in agro-equipment sector

TurkTraktor, the oldest still-operating manufacturer in the Turkish automotive industry, concluded a share transfer agreement to acquire Kayhan Ertugrul Makina, Kayhan Ertugrul Tarim and TerramakTarim with the aim of expanding and growing its operations in the agricultural equipment business.

This is an important step for TurkTraktor to extend its leadership in the tractor market to the agricultural equipment sector. As the largest agricultural equipment distributor in Türkiye, TurkTraktor will further expand its product range with this acquisition, taking on a prominent role in equipment production.

TurkTraktor expands with strategic acquisition

Enjoying 18 years of leadership in a row in the tractor market, TurkTraktor continues its investments to increase agricultural productivity and introduce modern technologies to farmers to transform agriculture in line with its motto “TurkTraktor Prepares for the Future.”

As part of this vision, TurkTraktor acquires Kayhan Ertugrul Makina and its subsidiary Kayhan Ertugrul Tarim and TerramakTarim to reach new heights in the field of agricultural equipment.

Under the brands New Holland, Case IH, TurkTraktor, and Red Pro, TurkTraktor offers Türkiye’s broadest range of agricultural equipment, featuring over 30 product types and more than 800 variants.

The company continues to provide farmers with efficient and high-technology agricultural mechanization products, including plows, precision seed drills, atomizers, small balers, rakes and feed mixers. This acquisition will enable TurkTraktor to consolidate its position as a key player in the agricultural equipment sector.
