Türkiye’s only maritime fair, Bosphorus Boat Show, opens at MarinTurk Istanbul City Port
Türkiye‘s premier maritime event, the Bosphorus Boat Show, has officially opened at MarinTurk Istanbul City Port. The fair began on Oct. 26, 2024, and will continue until Nov. 3.
Organized by ED Fair with support from the Yacht and Boat Industry Association (YATED) and sponsored by the Turkish Shipbuilders’ Association (GISBIR), the show features a wide variety of boats.
The opening ceremony included notable attendees such as Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Durmus Unuvar, Chairman of GISBIR Murat Kiran, Chairman of YATED Murat Bekiroglu, General Manager of MarinTurk Fahir Cam as well as founding partners of ED Fair Dilek Soydan and Emel Yilmaz.
This year, the fair expects over 50,000 visitors and will showcase around 500 boats, catering to various budgets starting from ₺250,000 ($7,289.5). Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of vessels, including sailing yachts, motorboats, speedboats and catamarans.
Latest innovations at Bosphorus Boat Show
In addition to boats and yachts, the fair also highlights the latest technologies used in boat construction. Marine enthusiasts can find everything they need, including marina equipment and accessories.
With a market size of approximately $3 billion, the Bosphorus Boat Show attracts over 200 companies and features more than 500 brands, underscoring its importance and vitality within the maritime industry.
