Türkiye’s finance minister attends Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh
Türkiye’s Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek traveled to Riyadh to attend the eighth annual Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant global events.
During his visit, Simsek will participate in key discussions with international policymakers and investors.
Key discussions with global leaders
As part of his one-day visit, Simsek will meet with important global figures, including the U.K.’s Minister for Trade Policies and Economic Security Douglas Garven Alexander, India’s Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal and Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa.
These meetings are expected to focus on strengthening economic ties and cooperation among the nations.
Simsek’s role at Future Investment Initiative
At the Future Investment Initiative Conference, Simsek will be one of the keynote speakers on a panel titled “Policymakers’ Board: Can Leaders Offer Optimism Instead of Caution?” Other notable participants on the panel include ministers from Saudi Arabia, India, and the United Kingdom, as well as the President of the International Finance Corporation Makhtar Diop,
