Türkiye’s exports to Arab League climb 7.7%, nearing $40 billion mark
Türkiye’s exports to the Arab League reached $39.9 billion in the January-October period of 2024, marking a 7.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the General Trade System (GTS) data, Türkiye’s total exports stood at $216.4 billion, exports to the Arab League accounted for 18.4% of this figure.
Export to Iraq bring in $10.8 billion
Iraq ranked first among Türkiye’s Arab League export destinations with $10.8 billion in exports.
- United Arab Emirates: Second with $6.8 billion
- Egypt: Third with $3.4 billion
- Saudi Arabia: Fourth with $3.3 billion
- Morocco: Fifth with $2.8 billion
Key sectors of export
During this period, the leading sector in exports to the Arab League countries was cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and related products, amounting to $6.1 billion.

- Jewelry: $5.4 billion
- Electrical-electronics: $2.7 billion
- Furniture, paper, and forest products: $2.6 billion
