The Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters’ Association (CCSIB) will announce the export champions of 2023 at the 6th Export Champions Awards Ceremony on June 28, according to a statement from the association.

The CCSIB, which includes over 2,000 exporters in the ceramics, cement, and glass sectors, will identify the champions of the $4.9 billion export conducted in 2023.

The 6th Export Champions Awards Ceremony, to be attended by Mustafa Gultepe, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Erdem Cenesiz, Chairman of the CCSIB Board of Directors and members, will take place on June 28.

The ceremony, expected to be attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Ozgur Volkan Agar, will present 76 awards in various categories to companies operating in the cement, glass, and ceramics sectors.

Erdem Cenesiz, Chairman of the CCSIB Board of Directors, mentioned in the statement that restrictive conditions had arisen for three sectors in the global and Turkish economies last year.

Highlighting that despite all challenges and increased competition, the sectors achieved $4.9 billion in exports in 2023, Cenesiz made the following assessment: “In this way, we have demonstrated success in increasing our exports by 48% in the last 10 years.

“We will come together at our traditional ceremony to celebrate and present awards to the companies that have made valuable contributions to our sectors and the country’s economy,” he added.
