Türkiye’s state energy company BOTAS is expanding regional partnerships to boost energy diversity and position itself as a central energy hub. Recently, BOTAS attended the 29th “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” international conference in Ashgabat, held on Oct. 23-25, at the invitation of Turkmengaz.

Focus on timely supply of Turkmen Gas

A critical area of strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Turkmenistan is ensuring the timely supply of Turkmen gas to Türkiye. BOTAS held a productive meeting with Turkmengaz to address this issue.

The meeting featured BOTAS Chairman and General Manager Abdulvahit Fidan, Deputy General Manager Mithat Aydin, and Deputy Director of the Natural Gas Procurement and Export Department Ibrahim Faruk Adiguzel.

During the meeting, Fidan congratulated Turkmengaz President Maksat Babayev on the success of the conference.
