Türkiye seeks momentum in Customs Union talks with EU, Trade Minister Bolat says
Türkiye expects progress in Customs Union negotiations with the European Union following improved relations and cooperation through the High-Level Dialogue on Trade, Trade Minister Omer Bolat said.
After meeting with Thomas Hans Ossowski, head of the EU delegation to Türkiye, Bolat stated on X that Türkiye values the multifaceted development of its relationship with the EU.
“Türkiye advocates an inclusive EU trade policy and cooperation in the fields of green and digital transformation,” Bolat said.
He added, “In this direction, we will continue to deepen and develop our trade relations with the EU with determination.”
Türkiye and the EU held their first High-Level Dialogue on Trade on July 8, 2024.
