Türkiye earns $2.35 billion from hazelnut exports, 2023-2024 season

Türkiye generated approximately $2.35 billion in revenue from hazelnut exports during the 2023-2024 season, according to a written statement from the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association.

The statement provided details on Türkiye’s hazelnut export performance for the season that began on September 1, 2023, and ended on August 31, 2024. It highlighted that Türkiye sold 303,458 tons of hazelnuts, bringing in $2,349,117,726 in revenue.

The previous season saw the export of 298,557 tons of hazelnuts, earning $1,795,189,783. The statement noted a 1.64% increase in quantity (4,901 tons) for the 2023-2024 season compared to the previous one.

In terms of value, there was a 30.86% rise, amounting to $553,927,943. The Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association highlights this as a promising outcome for the new season.
