Turkish central bank reserves fall to $123B

In the week ending March 29, the total reserves of the Turkish central bank decreased to $123.13 billion, marking a decline of $718 million compared to the previous week

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) decreased by $718 million compared to the previous week, falling to $123.13 billion in the week ending March 29.

According to the CBRT’s weekly monetary and banking statistics, the central bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $1.93 billion to $68.75 billion as of March 29. They stood at $70.68 billion on March 22.

During this period, gold reserves increased by $1.23 billion to $54.38 billion from $53.16 billion.

The central bank’s total reserves decreased by $718 million to $123.13 billion from $123.84 billion in the week ending March 29.
