Emir Tuncyurek, a senior executive at Tesla Türkiye, indicated on Tuesday that the company may soon introduce trade-in support in Türkiye, allowing customers to exchange older Tesla models for new ones by paying the price difference.

In a post shared on X via Tesla Türkiye’s official community account, a user inquired about the availability of a trade-in program in the country. Tuncyurek responded, stating, “While it’s not available yet, it’s part of our plans,” hinting at the potential introduction of a trade-in system that could greatly benefit local customers.

Although work on the system is reportedly underway, the company has not yet provided details on its launch timeline.

Tesla, one of the world’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers, officially entered the Turkish market in 2023. The launch, featuring the highly popular Model Y, was met with significant enthusiasm. Since then, the company has undertaken initiatives tailored specifically for the Türkiye market.
