Tajikistan aims for full integration with Türkiye, emphasizes economic synergy
Referencing the line from Rumi’s poetry, “We have come to unite,” Tajikistan’s Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir, said: “In this sense, we also want to fully integrate and unite Tajikistan and Türkiye, adding that the “economies of the two countries can complement each other.”
The Türkiye-Tajikistan Business Forum, held at the TOBB Twin Towers in Ankara, saw the participation of the Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Tajikistan’s Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Sherali Kabir, Sultan Rahimzade, Chairman of the Committee on Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan, Nail Olpak, President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and other officials.
Minister Kabir noted that favorable conditions have been prepared for Turkish businessmen and investors in his country.
Highlighting Tajikistan’s recent advancements in areas such as economy and industry, Minister Kabir emphasized that the necessary infrastructure has been established in the trade sector.
Kabir underscored Tajikistan’s “good relations with Central Asian countries,” expressing that through free trade agreements with some of these countries and its relations with neighbors like China, Türkiye can efficiently market its products in Tajikistan.
Minister Kabir emphasized Tajikistan’s green energy production developments: “This green electricity also paves the way for a green economy. It provides opportunities for the development of a green economy.”
The minister also expressed the desire to equip Tajikistan with new technology in the industrial sector, stating: “In this regard, we want to benefit from Türkiye’s technology. We have historical commonalities.”
Minister Kabir fully stated, expressing the intention to integrate and unite Tajikistan and Türkiye: “The economies of the two countries can complement each other. All conditions have been prepared for you to come and benefit from our opportunities. We want to be your colleagues and your friends, and we want to assure you that your trade-in Tajikistan will flourish more every day.”
