Poland’s Benefit Systems to acquire Türkiye’s largest fitness chain MACFit for $420M

Poland-based sports services company Benefit Systems has reached an agreement to acquire MACFit, a Turkish sports club chain operating 121 fitness centers, for $420 million, the company announced.
According to a statement released by Benefit Systems on Monday, the completion of the sale is subject to approval by the Turkish Competition Authority.
The company also noted that the final sale price, determined as of Dec. 31, 2024, will be recalculated at an annual increase rate of 7% until the transaction is completed.
About MACFit
Operating 121 fitness centers across Türkiye, MACFit currently has 305,000 active members and 1.4 million digital subscribers. According to its 2024 financial data, the company generated $112 million in revenue and $50 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). It aims to expand further in the coming years.
Benefit Systems’ statement also revealed that MACFit plans to open 26 new fitness centers in 2025 and 22 more in 2026.
Founded in 2007, MACFit entered a growth phase in 2010 following investments from Esas Holding and Actera Group.
