Peugeot’s new 3008 shakes up market with over 100,000 sales in just 6 months

The new Peugeot 3008 has achieved commercial success with over 100,000 orders globally since its world premiere just six months ago, the France-based company announced on Thursday.
The latest generation of the Peugeot 3008 offers versatility with petrol-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric engine options, catering to a wide range of consumer needs while emphasizing efficiency and innovation.
The all-electric Peugeot E-3008 has particularly stood out, achieving remarkable performance in key markets such as France, the U.K. and Germany with 35,000, 25,000, and 9,000 sold units, respectively.

Share of electric models on rise for 3008
Electric models now account for 21% of all 3008 sales, reflecting rising demand in the electric vehicle (EV) market through broadening popularity.
Another notable achievement is the preference for the top-tier GT trim, which accounts for approximately 60% of all orders during the initial months of sale.
By 2025, Peugeot plans to expand the 3008 lineup with a dual-motor version featuring a 98 kWh battery, delivering a combined range of 701 kilometers (WLTP mixed cycle).
This addition will complement the current model equipped with a 73 kWh battery offering 527 kilometers (327.46 miles) of range, positioning the E-3008 as one of the longest-range electric SUVs on the market.
