Number of people worth over $10M exceeds 6,000 in Türkiye

The number of individuals in Türkiye with a net worth exceeding 10 million dollars has reached 6,138. According to the latest annual 2025 Wealth Report by British real estate consultancy firm Knight Frank, those with assets above this threshold represent 0.3% of Türkiye’s population, placing Turkey 25th globally.
Notably, the report omits details for individuals with wealth exceeding 30 million dollars, which were included in previous versions. In 2022, there were 1,761 people in Türkiye with assets above 30 million dollars, and this number increased to 1,932 in 2023.
U.S. leads the world in dollar millionaires
The report highlights the United States as the country with the highest number of ultra-wealthy individuals. There are 905,413 people in the U.S. with a net worth above 10 million dollars, followed by China with 471,634 individuals.
Other countries with a significant number of ultra-wealthy people include Japan, India, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France.
Globally, the number of individuals with a net worth exceeding 10 million dollars has increased by 41,078 people in the past year, bringing the total to 2,341,378. The number is expected to surpass 2.5 million by 2028.
Growth of wealth among the ultra-rich
The report also reveals that the number of individuals with a net worth exceeding 100 million dollars has surpassed 100,000. In 2023, this number stood at 99,825, increasing to 104,060 in 2024.
It is projected that by 2028, the number of individuals with wealth exceeding 100 million dollars will rise to 110,942.
