Lexus expands its product offering in Türkiye with LBX
Lexus’ latest addition, the LBX now available in Turkiye starting at TL 2,290,000
The premium automobile manufacturer Lexus has introduced its all-new LBX model to the Turkish market, with prices starting from TL 2,290,000. The Lexus LBX, offered in four different versions, features a 1.5-liter full hybrid engine under the hood, capable of producing a maximum power of 136 HP and a maximum torque of 185 Nm.
Ali Haydar Bozkurt, CEO of Lexus Türkiye, noted the strong demand witnessed at the car’s launch: “We have set a sales target of 500 units for 2024. The LBX is also gaining popularity in Europe, and if we can increase vehicle supply, our sales figures could reach up to 1500.”
Bozkurt further stated, “Lexus has now entered an aggressive phase in Türkiye, and the growth trend is accelerating day by day.”
Features of the Lexus LBX
The Lexus LBX, boasting a premium structure unmatched by any other brand in the B-SUV class, comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, a 9.8-inch Touchscreen Multimedia Display, Intelligent Entry and Start System, Smartphone Integration, e-Latch electronic door system, Heated Front Seats, Wireless Charging Unit, and power tailgate.
The Emotion and Cool models distinguish themselves with dual-color body options and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Elegant and Relax variants are offered with single-color body options and bright 18-inch wheels. Inside the LBX cabin, the Emotion ambiance is crafted with perforated synthetic leather upholstery featuring red accents and contrasting stitching on the seats, center console, and door trim. The Dynamic-themed LBX Cool showcases a black/dark gray cabin with Ultrasuede and leather dual-tone upholstery, accented with copper details and stitching.
Representing different atmospheres, the LBX Elegant and Relax models also excel in elegance. The Elegant variant offers earthy brown or beige synthetic leather upholstery, while the Relax variant presents topaz brown or black semi-aniline leather upholstery.
Depending on the desired ambiance, the LBX model also offers features such as 12.3-inch digital gauges, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System, Adaptive High Beam Headlamp System, Active Noise Control, Acoustic Front and Front Side Windows, Shift Paddles Behind the Steering Wheel, Electrically Adjustable Driver’s Seat, 8-Way Heated Steering Wheel, and Color Indicator Display Reflected on the Windshield.
5th Generation Hybrid Engine
The Lexus LBX is equipped with a 1.5-liter hybrid engine that reflects the vehicle’s dynamic design and significantly contributes to its driving characteristics. The highly efficient and responsive 1.5-liter hybrid engine embodies all elements of the Lexus Driving Signature. Featuring a highly efficient full hybrid system, the LBX combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. The redesigned and more compact full hybrid system delivers 136 HP of maximum power and 185 Nm of maximum torque.
The new bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery, integrated into the LBX model by Lexus, offers enhanced power and increases the vehicle’s full electric driving capacity. The LBX’s 1.5-liter hybrid engine ensures driving pleasure on any road. Delivering dynamic performance both in urban environments and on winding roads, the LBX proves to be an essential companion.
With its new power unit, the LBX delivers pleasant performance with impressive handling characteristics in city driving and on winding roads. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds, the LBX boasts a fuel consumption of 4.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 100 g/km, according to official WLTP combined figures.
