Istanbul Airport dominates as Europe’s busiest hub
The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) has released its report for the week of May 6-12. Istanbul Airport claimed the title of Europe’s busiest airport during this period, with an average of 1,430 flights per day.
According to the European Aviation Report for May 6-12 published by Eurocontrol, Istanbul Airport secured the top spot among Europe’s busiest airports with an average of 1,430 flights per day.
Following Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,402 daily flights, then London Heathrow with 1,337 flights per day trailed closely behind.
