The European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) published the “European Aviation Report” for the period Aug. 26 to Sept. 1.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1,494 daily flights during this period. Istanbul Airport was Europe’s busiest airport from Aug. 26 to Sept. 1.

Istanbul Airport was followed by Paris Charles De Gaulle with 1,447 daily flights, Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,442 flights, and London Heathrow with 1,359 flights.

According to the report, Antalya Airport ranked eighth on the list. 

One of the most connected airports worldwide, Istanbul Airport has often been positioned at the very top of the list by exceeding the figure of 1,400 in daily flights.
