Turkish e-commerce platform Hepsiburada achieved a sales rate of one sale every 12 seconds during “Legendary November.”
Hepsiburada shared insights into consumer shopping trends following its record-breaking “Legendary November” campaign.
According to the Hepsiburada report released on Dec. 2, the company, known for offering significant discounts, doubled its impact this year, enabling households to save ₺8 billion in 2024 compared to ₺4 billion in 2023.
Key highlights of campaign
- Visits: The platform recorded 500 million visits during November, with an average of 12 items sold every second.
- Peak shopping time: The most popular shopping hours were between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
- Top shopping cities: Beyond Türkiye’s three largest cities, Bursa led in sales, followed by Kocaeli, Antalya, Adana, and Konya.
- Record-breaking day: On November 11, the most active shopping day, Hepsiburada visits increased by 20% compared to the same day last year, setting a new record.

- Electronics:
- Robot vacuums: Sales doubled compared to last year, reaching nearly 49,000 units.
- Carpet cleaners: Sales grew 11-fold, totaling 33,000 units.
- Vacuum cleaners: 100,000 units sold.
- Coffee machines: 65,000 units sold.
- Other popular items included smartphones, laptops, tablets, monitors, and accessories like cases and wireless earphones.
- Jewelry:
- 22-karat gold bracelets: A favored choice for their discounted prices and investment potential.
- Cosmetics:
- Top-selling items included skincare, haircare products, and makeup.
- Fashion:
- Trending items: knitted sweaters, oversized shirts, comfy leggings, and sweatshirts.
- Mother-baby products:
- Bestsellers: breastfeeding support items, thermometers, baby hygiene products, and clothing.
- Home and kitchen:
- Popular choices: pressure cookers, breakfast sets, glassware, and storage containers.
- Kitchenware products such as cooking utensils and thermoses also attracted significant interest.
- Essential goods:
- High demand for paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
- Snacks and breakfast items topped the food category.
Small, medium enterprises drive majority of sales
- Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) played a major role, accounting for 69% of all sales on the platform.
- Campaigns: A total of 650,000 promotions were launched during the period.
- Top SME Cities: Corum, Bursa and Kayseri stood out for their sales performance.
Delivery milestones
- HepsiJET, the platform’s logistics arm, covered 11 million kilometers during November, delivering 606 packages per minute.
- Beyond major cities, the districts of Nilufer, Osmangazi, Muratpasa and Seyhan saw the highest delivery volumes.
